Last Saturday, Hailsham Lions hosted their annual Christmas tea party at The Charles Hunt Centre for the ‘young’ of town. On 4 December, Lion Karen Spreadbury was presented with the District Governor’s Certificate of Appreciation in Recognition of Outstanding and Dedicated Services. Doing the honours was President Geraldine Gurr. Last month, Lion Chris Millen was also presented with a similar certificate for his outstanding service to the Club, often beyond the call of duty.
Our candy floss machine has never been so busy! At Hailsham’s Christmas lights Switch On, we worked in relays to keep up with the demand for our famous candy floss. It was a wonderful Christmassy evening and we’d like, once again, to thank Hailsham for its continued support. We couldn’t do it without you!
